Thanksgiving … In the Workplace??

Don’t freak out on me right away; I am not saying you should provide a Thanksgiving feast for your staff!  But I was thinking about Thanksgiving, and how it relates to the workplace.  Thanksgiving is about giving thanks to those around us and for how they affect our lives.  Is it wrong to take a short breather from our busy schedules, and thank each other for going above and beyond this year?  The smallest token of thanks is greatly appreciated, and can mean a lot to an employee.  People have been working hard, all of us; thank each other!

Thank you for reading my blog!!  I greatly appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule.  Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

See, it feels nice, doesn’t it?  Try it.  It might just give your employees the little morale boost they need this fall to get to the end of the road.
